Get Moving: A Challenge To Add More Walking To Your Daily Routine

Welcome back to another weekly challenge from @coffee.donuts.fitness

This week we are focusing on fitness. The challenge is to walk for 10 minutes each day on your lunch break. Now I know there are so many of us that work through our lunch or maybe don’t even get a lunch break. If that is the case just find 10 minutes a day to walk. I wrote the challenge to be during a lunch break because I wanted to be specific with the challenge, but any 10 minutes will do!

Our goal here is to increase our movement. So many people underestimate the power of walking and they feel a walk each day isn’t enough exercise. Well, it totally can be! If you are consistently exercising then this 10 minutes is in addition to your workout. If you are new to working out then let’s get going and start with 10 minutes of walking a day!

Just to be extra clear, you can walk anywhere you want. You can go outside, walk on the treadmill, walk through the mall, it doesn’t matter! Heck, walk in circles around your office. The point is to just move!
