Eating Unplugged

For this training we are talking about eating without distractions. This may sound silly at first but it can really be beneficial to us, especially if we are trying to lose weight!

When I say distractions I’m talking about eating in front of the TV or while being on your phone. I also mean eating while working. It is really doing anything that will take your attention away to how your body is feeling while you are eating.

I know this sounds like such a small thing in the grand scheme of it all but it can really help us to know when our bodies have had enough food. We were conditioned from when we were little that we had to finish all the food on our plate. Well I’m going to let you in on a little secret, you can actually leave food on your plate if you aren’t hungry anymore! Crazy right!
